John W. Michael, 77, of Van Wert passed away at 12:50 PM on February 10, 2021 at his residence after courageously battling several health issues. John was born on March 16, 1943, in Van Wert, to the late Harry and Esther (Wortman) Michael.
John enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels that visited his feeders. He and his wife were avid travelers and visited all 50 states. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion.

I will never forget boating on the river, the Fourth of July parties and fireworks, and being at their house in Convoy. I thank you for the many times inviting my family to eat with you. You will be deeply missed! Love you John!
