Edith Corcoran

Edith T. Corcoran, 103, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2020 at the Van Wert Manor. Edith was born November 3, 1916 in New Straitsville, Ohio to Walter Scott and Bertha (Fluhart) Trimmer who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, George and Gerald; and two sisters, Virginia and Inez. On September 20, 1942 Edith married Arthur E. Corcoran who passed away in 1982.

She is survived by a son, Gary A. Corcoran (Karen), two grandsons, one granddaughter, four great grandsons and two great granddaughter.

In addition to her parents, siblings and husband Edith was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Lynn Collins (William) and a grandson, Bradley Dean Collins.

Edith retired from Grandview Heights Public Library. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Van Wert and the Grove City Eastern Star.

In keeping with the wishes of Edith, there will be no funeral services.

Burial will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park in Largo, Florida.
