Obituary

Dennis L. Magner, 82, of Van Wert passed away at 4:53 PM on Thursday, June 02, 2022 at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born on November 24, 1939, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late John and Mary (Swain) Magner. On June 14, 1964, he married the love of his life, Cherie High. Together, they shared years of memories.

Dennis served his country in the United States Marines and retired from BF Goodrich in 1997. He was a member of the American Legion Isaac Van Wert Post 178 and was a coin and currency collector.

Surviving are his wife, Cherie of Van Wert; sons: Sean Manger and Gregg Manger, both of Van Wert and grandchildren: Breanne, Xavier and Amelia Manger, all also of Van Wert.

In keeping with Dennis' wishes, he will be cremated and no formal services will be observed.
