Donna Trisel

Private graveside services for Donna Francis Trisel, 91, of Rockford, Ohio, were held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford, Ohio, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Donna had passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Joint Township Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, Ohio, where she had been a patient. She was born in Mercer County, Ohio, on March 9, 1919, to Carl and Blanche (Shaffer) Bennett. She had lived in this area all her life, where she provided child care in her home for many years after raising her own family; she had also worked at Goodyear Rubber Company in St. Marys, Ohio for a short time. Surviving are two daughters: Patricia (Peter) Teixeira of Port Charlotte, Florida and Connie Trisel, of Brandenton, Florida. One sister and two brothers also survive: Lois Fox, Celina, Ohio; Max (Dorothy) Bennett, Ohio City, Ohio; and Theo (Marlene) Bennett, Kettering, Ohio. Four grandchildren survive: Pam Bowen, Mendon, Ohio; Scott (Barb) Bowen, Rockford, Ohio; Bruce (Darla) Bowen, Kendallville, Indiana, and Todd Bowen, Bradenton, Florida; four great grandchildren: Cory, Lucas, Brandon, and Kayla; three great great grandchildren, along with three step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
